Nature and Scope of Our Advice
Adla provides advice on KiwiSaver and first home planning. This includes guidance on:
- KiwiSaver fund type and provider selection
- Contribution levels and projected balances
- Building a savings and deposit plan to buy your first home
- Advice and support around significant financial hardship withdrawals
We only give KiwiSaver advice on products from these providers:
- Fisher Funds
- Generate
- Booster
- Pathfinder
- Milford
- ANZ
We don’t give advice on other investments, insurance, mortgages or tax, but we’re happy to point you towards someone who can.
Digital Advice
Some of our KiwiSaver advice is given through a digital advice tool. The tool recommends a fund based only on the information you provide during the advice process. It does not take your wider financial situation into account, and is limited to KiwiSaver fund selection. You always have the option to talk through the recommendation with an adviser.
Fees and Commissions
Adla does not charge clients any fees directly for KiwiSaver advice. We are paid by product providers through either commission or trail-based remuneration, depending on the provider. We will always tell you what we are paid before you act on our advice.
You’ll still pay your KiwiSaver provider’s own fees on your account. These are set by your provider and explained in their Product Disclosure Statement.
Conflicts of Interest and Incentives
We do not have any volume agreements or preferred provider arrangements, and we do not receive volume-based bonuses from any provider.
Where we have a referral arrangement in place, we may share a portion of the commission we receive through that arrangement with the referrer. This costs you nothing and does not change our advice — we recommend the fund and provider that best fit your goals and needs, regardless of how you came to us. We follow a documented advice process and are legally required to prioritise your interests at all times.
Privacy
We handle your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020. Our privacy policy sets out what we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.
